Ryan Gates founded GATES LAW GROUP to establish a law firm that provides legal services in a way that makes sense in today’s modern society. Ryan knows that you are often coming to see him when you are making the most important legal decisions for you, your family, or your business. He realizes that these legal decisions are generally being made during the most exciting, yet difficult times, and Ryan strives to ensure that your experience is one that is memorable for all the right reasons.

Ryan grew up in the Fraser Valley and calls Langley home. He graduated (LLB) with Honours from the University of Newcastle Law School in New South Wales, Australia, and was admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2013. Ryan since moved back home, articled with a prominent law firm in the Fraser Valley and continued on with that firm upon being called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2017. Ryan has a general solicitor’s practice, helping clients with their businesses and personal legal matters, practicing in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate, and wills & estates. 

Kiran Cheema has recently joined us at GATES LAW GROUP (in 2022). We are excited to welcome her to the group. Kiran brings with her experience in real estate, corporate, litigation, and estate administration. Kiran calls Langley home and will be assisting clients at our Langley office location.
